BIOGRAPHY
Born in Toronto, Canada, in 1970, Grant Udellis developed an appreciation for Pop music at an early age. As a young adolescent, he began what would become a life-long love affair crafting contemporary songs that pack a punch. You could say he was "hooked" from the start (pun intended). Many of his works, including the melodies for such songs as "Shelly", "Your Way Or No Way", "Good Thing" and "You Made A Believer", were originally composed during his teenage years.
Grant's ministry was launched in 1996 when he cut his first demo. God confirmed Grant's calling to pursue this songwriting ministry in 1997 when he began working with a well known Canadian artist by the name of Rena Gaile who had gained popularity in the New Country market. He penned two songs for her entitled "Right Before My Eyes" and "Good Thing" which she recorded for her debut Gospel album "At Your Feet". Grant's first compilation album was released in March of 2001 on his label, Zion Records. This record entitled "The View From Here" received nation wide distribution in Canada. During the recording of this album, Grant had the opportunity to work with a variety of prominent Canadian Christian artists. Radio in Canada readily embraced "The View From Here". All fourteen tracks received airplay and some tracks are still being played to date.
In January of 2004, Grant's long-time dream to work with Contemporary Christian diva, Lisa Bevill, was realized! She recorded his song "To Love And Be Loved", one of Grant's personal favourites. This track was produced by well known Christian producer, Steve Dady. To Grant's delight, Steve also produced Grant's next album entitled "Love Me Back To Life". Tracks from this record are currently receiving airplay in the US and the UK as well as Canada.
